Tomy B. Salon is such a pleasure I always enjoy coming here ,you feel like you are at a friends house rather than a big loud noisy chaotic “typical Salon”– because this place is anything buy typical!. Looking forward to my next cappuccino, relaxing on the couch discussing politics and leaving with awesome hair.

came here after having a very bad hair extension experience. my hair was getting pulled out and destroyed.. Tomy did a fantastic color correction and Jill developed a hair extension system designed for my hair. My hair extensions feel so comfortable and are not longer pulling or tugging. There is no better salon experience than with Tomy B (and his awesome wife Jill of course!!), his work is perfection! I am a new client and have never left a salon feeling like such a super star! Tomy takes his time with each client ensuring that they leave with nothing but stunning hair and a smile on their face. My hair felt bouncy and beautiful, I really felt like a different person than when I walked in! You can tell he is so passionate about what he does, and he’s damn good at it! He also happens to have the most amazing right hand women (that’s right I’m talking about you Eliana, Paige and Blanca!!) You will immediately feel like you’re part of the Tomy B family. Just walk in once, you’ll never want to leave!

Pure perfection, like no other. Tomy B. is a scientist and artist rolled into one. Sometimes things really do happen for a reason.

I walked into this Salon with about ten different shades in my hair.  I was greeted warmly by Jill and Tomy’s assistant.  Everyone there is so friendly and they offered me water or a cappuccino.  I met Tomy and right away he knew what had happened with my hair to make it look so destroyed.  He worked his magic.  Everything he does is transparent; he mixes everything right in front of you and tells you exactly what his vision is.  That was extremely refreshing for me since I have been traumatized by stylists telling you one vision and doing another.  He only uses pure dyes and the best products to create my perfect highlight color.  I like that he didn’t use heat on my highlights to process them because usually that is how they can come out brighter on the top and darker on the bottom.  He completely fixed all of the issues.  Not only was the base of my hair the exact same color as my roots but he did this all in record time.  My hair was even softer than it was when I first arrived.  Tomy truly cares about his craft.  He won’t let you walk out of his salon without you being thrilled with your hair.  I hardly ever write reviews, but Tomy is worth it if you are looking for someone to make you look your best.

I came into the salon for a  consultation and was lucky enough that Tomy had the time to fit me in for hair color and a trim that day! The staff was very professional and knowledgable about natural hair. Tomy talked to me for about 15 minutes and made sure I understood his plan for my hair.  We are on the same page and that made me feel very comfortable with my hair in his hands

The space is clean, homey and had a great welcoming atmosphere…I have found my salon!!

Let me start by saying I absolutely love the work that Tomy has done!! I went in wanting highlights but I had a few different ideas in mind. After showing him some pictures he said, “I know exactly what I’m going to do,” and so I let him work on my hair like it was his own blank canvas.

One of the main reasons I chose this salon over any other salon was the fact that they do not use bleach when lightening your hair!! This results in much less damage to the hair and color that just looks amazing. I absolutely plan to return to this salon for any future work up be done to my hair!! :)

Amazing hair color, rich and shiny, wont use anything else on my hair. After I saw all of the junk that had been building up on my hair there was no way I could use any other products. Tomy;s hair line leave no build up, leaves my hair shiny. I have never recieved so many compliments about my hair. I look younger and feel better.

Finally found a hair colorist that got it right! First tony fixed my horrible hair color and gave me a base I was happy with … From there he added highlights and glazes to really get my hair looking spectacular— even my husband noticed the difference. I have been coming to Tomy B since he opened 12 or 13 years ago. Prior to coming to Tomy I was never happy with my color. Tomy does a fabulous job on my color because he assesses it each time I visit and he also uses the best products available. I am always happy with the cut – he is precise and Tomy cuts it for my style hair. I receive a lot of compliments both on my color and my hair cut from not only friends but from people on the street who ask me where I had my hair color or cut done. Of course I always say, Tomy B, he’s the best.

Tomy custom made me this great new hair piece called a halo. I had never heard of it, and was intrigued when I saw a women at the salon putting it on. It wa so simple took her 5 seconds to take on and off and gave her sooo much more hair. I loved it and had to get one of my own. The easiest and best way to add length and volume

I went to Tomy a few months back with a new haircut I gotten from another stylist. I always had really full long beautiful hair, everyone admired. I thought it was time for a change, and wanted to start from scratch and get rid of my dried out, over processed hair. But now that I committed to a very short haircut, I knew I had to make it work for my athletic look & outgoing personality. Tomy started out with some small changes and as he got to know me and my character better, he started to style & color me appropriately. Now I look fabulous. It was a process for sure, but well worth it. Tomy really took interest in making sure I was always happy when I left. And I love that he has developed his own non-damaging color line. So when I do decide to grow it back, it will be healthy and vibrant. Thanks to Tomy & his beautiful staff (inside & out) I now feel comfortable in my new look! They are truly the best!!!!

Superb highlights, that is the only way to describe how tomy highlighted my hair. He hand painted my highlights for the most natural sun-kissed look. This was the best experience with balayage on long island.
