Hair that has been bleached, feels dry, breaks off, or keeps turning red often can't hold new color well. So before the color, it gets what it's missing.

Both are formulated by Tomy Biton and made in Italy — his own professional line. Your plan tells you if you need one, both, or neither.
Colored hair doesn't behave like untouched hair. Put a new color over a failed one and the pigments stack — that's how "a little too dark" becomes flat black, and how brassy turns muddy. Color on top of color has to come out in the right order.
