Our commitment

Tomy B. Salon wants every client to be able to read about our services, book an appointment and shop on tomybsalon.com, whatever tools they use to browse. We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard used by the U.S. Department of Justice and New York courts.

What we have done

• Every page has a skip link, a page language, one main heading and a visible keyboard focus ring.
• Every image has a text alternative. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
• Every form field, including the booking and call-back forms, has a label that screen readers announce.
• Text and buttons meet the 4.5:1 colour contrast ratio.
• Videos with speech carry closed captions. Nothing plays sound on its own.
• No accessibility overlay or widget is used. The fixes are in the site itself.
• The whole site was tested with automated checks (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 A/AA rules) on 13 October 2026, and we re-check it every month and after major changes.

Known limitations

• Payment at checkout is handled by Stripe. Their frames are built to WCAG AA but we do not control them.
• Client reviews are collected through a third-party review form that uses Google reCAPTCHA. If you cannot complete it, send us your review by email and we will post it for you.
• Some older blog images have short text alternatives. We are rewriting them.
