I began my training in Massachusetts at a family owned salon. There I learned every aspect of the salon industry, not just how to style hair but the entire process from before the customer walks in, to after the client leaves. I took my experiences in Massachusetts and moved to Long Island to raise my family. Long Island has become my home, I love the people here and everything Long Island has to offer. Now I am loving the vibe and creativity at Tomy B., the atmosphere is awesome, exciting and filled with great people.
Come visit me at Tomy B. Salon in Williston Park. I love what I do, and would like to share my spice for life with you- Just ask for the girl with the Big Curly Hair!
I have over 10 years of experience working in the hair industry. I began my training at Graham Webb Academy and started working at a top salon in Washington DC. During my first six years on the floor as a hair stylist, I frequently visited New York to study with TIGI Academy and Bumble & Bumble. I love education and feel there is so much to learn to constantly improve my craft. I moved to New York to work at Vu Hair inside the Peninsula Hotel. I found a passion in cutting hair, and while I do everything hair related I have perfected short haircuts for men and women.
Whether it be long voluminous hair to short and sleek, I will give you a hairstyle that works for you.
I'm truly excited to be a part of the Tomy B Salon of Long Island and can't wait to share my education with you. Hair is what I love to do.
New to the salon industry I wanted to find a salon that would train me, inspire me and show me what hair was all about. I just graduated beauty school and am eager to learn more. I couldn't have asked for a better stylist to mentor me. Tomy has his own style and own techniques that bring something special to his art. The salon is warm and welcoming and everyone works as a team. I'm Ashley and while I may just be assisting, for now, I am taking everything in to become a better stylist, colorist and all around kick-ass hair dresser!
